Yuji Machi, who also narrated Ultraman Dyna and Ultraman Tiga's kiais, is the narrator of Ultraman Fighting Evolution 3. Being the first Ultraman Fighting Evolution game to incorporate Ultramen and Ultra Monsters from the Heisei era, it also includes Ultraman 80.
With good cause, Ultraman Fighting Evolution 3 is considered as the best Ultraman Fighting game to date. It lets players control Ultraman and navigate the narrative on their own and includes classic episodes from the Ultraman TV series. Players can fight in Player versus Player (PVP) and Player versus Monster (PVM) modes in addition to the story mode.

As many stages have more than two different activities, obtaining a S rank may need a combination of tactics. If you're good at anything, you can get S ranks without having to do any other particular work or replenish your time or health.
Performance on every level determines a player's overall score in the game; rankings go from D (the lowest) to S (the highest). Time and health requirements for a level dictate its advancement. Two further special criteria have to be fulfilled in order to obtain a S Rank.
