Story:
Sakuragi mistakenly assumed that the lovely girl in front of him, Haruko, liked him. Haruko's elder brother, Takenori Akagris, is also the basketball team captain. Sakuragi's high school life is about to be upended by a massive wave. His objective is to compete in national high school competitions and become the National Champion.
Hanamichi Sakuragi, who had been dumped 50 times during three years of junior high school, attended Shohoku High School. One day, a girl called him in the hallway and asked, "Do you like basketball?"
