SMAPI Android APK is Stardew Valley's open-source modding framework and API, allowing you to play the game with mods. SMAPI will automatically check for new versions of your installed mods and notify you if any are available.
Load Mods in the Game:
SMAPI loads mods when the game starts up, allowing them to interact with it. (Loading code mods requires SMAPI.)
Provide APIs and events for Mods:
SMAPI provides APIs and events that enable mods to interact with the game in ways that would otherwise be impossible.
Provide compatibility checks:
SMAPI automatically detects outdated or broken code in mods and safely disables it before it causes issues.
Rewrite mods for compatibility:
SMAPI rewrites the compiled code of mods before loading them, allowing them to work on Linux/macOS/Windows without having to deal with differences between the Linux/macOS and Windows versions of the game. In some cases, it also rewrites code that has been broken by a game update to ensure that the mod continues to function.
Back up your saved files:
SMAPI automatically creates a daily backup of your saves and stores ten backups (via the bundled Save Backup mod) in case something goes wrong.
Detect errors and automatically correct saves:
SMAPI detects errors, displays error information in the SMAPI console, and, in most cases, automatically recovers the game. This prevents mods from crashing the game and allows you to troubleshoot errors in the game that would otherwise result in a generic 'program has stopped working' message. SMAPI APK also automatically fixes save data in cases where a load crashes, such as when a custom location or NPC mod is removed.
