The Gauntlet is an easy (but frustrating) game of chance for several players. The goal is to navigate from one end of the gauntlet to the other without uncovering a 5 or a face card. If any of these cards are disclosed, the gauntlet will commence once more.
Some games will pass the gauntlet in one go, but some games may be trapped for many forfeits. Three columns of three cards are followed by two start cards and one end card.
As the player moves from one column to another, he or she may select any moving card.
The Gauntlet can only be exited when you reach the final card, at which point it is the turn of the next victim, erm, player.
You can forfeit if you reveal a face card or five cards, and it can be as healthy (do 10 push-ups) or as unhealthy (take a mouthful of squirty cream) as you like.
