Explore your device's folders and organize your collection by track, album, artist, and playlist. Mornye helps you find duplicate tracks, edit music metadata, and export your playlists in M3U8 format for use with compatible music players.
Network Storage Support
Stream music from compatible network storage locations and servers using SMB, WebDAV, HTTP, HTTPS, and Subsonic or OpenSubsonic. For HTTPS connections, you can also allow a specific certificate fingerprint to build trust.
Personalized Listening Experience
The rewind feature provides a summary of your listening activity, while personalized autoplay learns your preferences directly on your device. Haptic feedback lets you feel the beat, and artist pages help you discover upcoming concerts and live performances.
Themes and Customization
Choose from the "Material 3 Expressive" and "Mornye" themes. Other customization options include dynamic colors, AMOLED mode, Material Symbols, and layouts optimized for tablets and large screens.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does Mornye show "Song not found"?
There may not be any tracks available in your current music library. Open Settings → Downloads → Provider settings and enable additional services. If available, you can also install an extension from the store, such as Amazon Music.
Why are some metadata tags missing?
Different music libraries provide different information for the same recording. One service may include album art and lyrics, while another may not. Enabling additional providers can increase the likelihood of finding more complete metadata.
Can I search the entire playlist?
Yes. Paste the link to a supported playlist into the search bar. Mornye will extract and process the tracks individually and add them back to the playlist in their original order.
Why does the app require storage permissions?
Mornye needs access to your files to save metadata, album art, and lyrics to your local music files. On Android 13 and later, depending on your device and installation, you may need to enable access to all files in Settings → Apps → Mornye → Permissions.
Is Mornye safe?
Mornye is open-source software, and its source code is available on GitHub. Versions have reportedly been scanned with VirusTotal. For added security, download the app from a trusted source and review the permissions requested.
What if Mornye doesn't work in my country?
Access to some music services and their APIs may vary by region. If a provider isn't available in your location, you can check if another compatible catalog or extension works. A VPN can be helpful in some cases, but it doesn't guarantee access to restricted services.
