PokeRogue is a browser-based roguelite built with Phaser3 2D game creation, based on the Pokémon combat engine. Though many unlockables carry over to facilitate future runs, it's a roguelite game where you play brief sessions or "runs" rather than a single playthrough. This game has no overworld for the purpose of simplicity, and the battle engine is where gameplay is entirely contained.

- Alt: Shows the menu bar with all of the below listed utilities.
- Ctrl+R: Soft resets the game, making it appear as though you just started it again.
- Fullscreen mode of the game is F11.
- F12 is the Developer Console.
- Ctrl+T: pkmn.help webpage (good as a type calculator and as a Pokedex to visit bulbapedia).

- Ctrl+B: Team builder (helpful for seeing your team's resistance to different kinds or planning)
- For PokeRogue wiki, press Ctrl+W.
- Pressing Ctrl+D launches Pokedex.
Ctrl+S: Smogon (for a fast reference on possible Pokemon moves, but obviously take it with a grain of salt; PokeRogue is an entirely other animal).
