Recompa is an Android launcher that lets you discover and play native versions of classic and modern games without needing an emulator. It supports recompilation, decompilation, and source code versions, allowing you to run compatible games directly on Android devices.
Choose a game from the library, download the version from the developer's GitHub repository, add the necessary files, and you're good to go. Recompa is specifically designed for controllers and handheld devices like the AYN Thor.

Port Updates and Version Control
Manage port updates directly from the launcher. You can update multiple ports simultaneously, receive notifications about new versions, or revert to a previous version if you encounter problems with an update.

Background Downloads
Downloads and installations can continue while you use other apps. Recompa displays progress via Android notifications, including file verification and installation status.

Import Existing Game Ports
Have you already manually installed a game port? Use the "Already installed" option to connect it to Recompa. The application will check the package name and signature before allowing updates.

Find games quickly with the built-in search function. Save your favorite titles for easy access using your controller buttons.
Full-Screen Mode
Enable full-screen mode for a more focused game interface. On supported mobile devices, Recompa can also be set as your home screen.
Compatibility Reports
Read reports from other players about the performance of different game ports on their devices. You can submit your own compatibility feedback even without a GitHub account.
Suggest new games for other platforms
If a game isn't in your library, you can suggest it directly from the app via GitHub. Suggestions are available even if the search returns no results.
